Ken Roczen has raced and won for the likes of Factory Suzuki MXGP, Red Bull KTM, RCH Suzuki, Team Honda HRC, and in 2023 he added the HEP Motorsports group to that list. This latest venture has been on a totally private bike and we had the opportunity to test out his Progressive Insurance/Ecstar Suzuki RM-Z450. Check it out and enjoy.

Yeah I didn’t know there was this much to it or that they were allowed to switch up 250 parts especially suspension as some kind of rule.  After the test did ML have any tips that the team will use or update the bike with as a test rider?  You looked good and it was interesting for you to know the feel from Kenny’s perspective the way he would sit and ride it.  Maybe staying lower is easier on his wrists too staying even like a forward push-up with the braces on.  Can you think of other top riders who would do well on this bike like maybe Chase since he has strong legs squatting and he moved from the Honda setup like Kenny?

I don’t hear about a lot of people making comments on gear but I had several Fox jerseys in the 90’s and early 2000’s.  Do most of the brands feel similar?  I like it a little baggy and not too scratchy and usually get a size bigger.  I could wear that old blue ‘90’s jersey all day that Henry, Dowd, and Windham ran with the big Fox head and vertical white stripes.
