Lumber FUSION L4,L5,S1

Had lumber fusion Aug 2 2022, almost died do to complications,  vascular surgeon nicked artery in abdomen,  had to be rushed back in for emergency surgery, received 4 pints of blood,  spent 3 days in ICU. With all that plus being 6 months out from surgery and still having debilitating pain in my lower back I have decided to see if someone that has had same surgery to please tell me it is still possible to get better,  because at this point alli have is regret, please help
