This is really cool. Fun to watch the subtle differences. Chase looks like he's always looking straight down in front of the front wheel. The side by side of him and Kenny in the right hand corner you can see the difference.

There’s a video by Mcgrath who says the top pros always look ahead with him rolling down his driveway on a creeper as a demonstration showing what happens when you look down and crashing into the grass as opposed looking up.

But MC was also used to having his head appearing way over the front of the bike and bars or so it looked as the bike shifted around.  Hunter pulled a McGrath landing off the wall jump with his chest kissing the bars and head being up and forward over the fender.  Also, remember that air wheelie MC did on Terrafirma 2 slow-mo at the ranch keeping his helmet forward on the plastic?  I got a Baggett poster with his elbows even w the bars.

It’s a fine line with Chase to sit forward and not force washouts and knifing.  If the elbows and head are up, legs grabbing, and feet on the pegs it should be all good.  I just saw Febre from behind with Gajser and he must ride the front since his tire bounces around a lot compared to a RC who chops out and hooks up good.  It was the coolest thing to see Deegan over jump and bunny hop bounce from his landing right into another jump.  That’s generational at least since Anderson had his own signature shirt flapping antics. 

I liked Stew’s ideas about weighting the pegs or leaning but i don’t know how he rode the tracks going through the turns and not even having to look ahead where he was going.  I wonder what the best core balance is?  Kenny hangs by his arms and moves his legs side to side for strength and balance.  A lot of people like the balls but things w/handles simulate bike grab position.

Now i know why not everyone can hang it out cause you can see Deegan taking a beating.  Lawrence landed softer by starting forward with his chest on the bars and then soaking it up when he leaned back as opposed to falling forward off the jump.  Jett is similar to Hunter but he stays even more back with his butt and low, soaks it up, and then is ready to wheelie on the gas earlier already on the compressed shock.

I just saw the Shimoda mechanical that “let a Lawrence by” so maybe Jett waving for Roczen had a part of him thinking maybe Joe would have put up more of a fight against Hunter as if those things happen frequently or him returning a favor to Joe by letting someone by so both Lawrences wouldn’t be capitalizing.  I still believe Kenny was catching him and Jett didn’t know what to do beyond counting points in his head…he was adding up going for it versus coming in 2nd which is supposed to be the  loser but wasn’t.  There’s no more undefeated worry he had the perfect season broken after Charlotte so it should be real interesting to see how he places or explains himself after LA since the media and maybe AMA doesn’t want to see him pull over again. It may havd been mature and classy to not have to win everything but what if he wasn’t gonna come away with the overall and the $100,000 if Kenny got by?  Now how hard would you ride for a million?
